BEMIDJI, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's golf team finished seventh at the Tracy Lane Memorial at the Bemidji Town and Country Club in Bemidji, Minn.
The Golden Eagles shot team scores of 402 and 407 over the two rounds of the tournament, which were played Mon., Sept. 10 and Tues., Sept. 11.
Minnesota Crookston was paced by
Allison Bot (Jr., Minneota, Minn.) turned in rounds of 97 and 102.
McKenzie Harris (Sr., Nevis, Minn.) finished carded scores of 99 and 100.
Camryn Larson (Fr., Fertile, Minn.) shot rounds of 101 and 102 in her first collegiate tournament, while
Anna Olson (So., Fertile, Minn.) carded a 105 and a 103, besting her first round score by two strokes.
Concordia University-St. Paul won the Tracy Lane Memorial as a team with scores of 326 and 324 for a total score of 650. They bested St. Cloud State University by 39 strokes. Sophie Hill of Concordia-St. Paul won the individual title with scores of 79 and 78. Marissa Naylor of University of Manitoba almost came back and won the tournament. After posting an opening round 82, Naylor shot a tournament-low 76 but fell one stroke behind Hill.
Minnesota Crookston will trek to Stillwater, Minn., for the 2018 CSP Fall Classic Sept. 16 and 17.
