CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston softball team's doubleheader against University of Mary originally scheduled for April 1 in Crookston, Minn. has been moved to Thurs., April 3 at 1 and 3 p.m. at the MDU Resources Community Bowl in Bismarck, N.D.
The game was moved due to field conditions and the 14.5 inches of snow Crookston, Minn. received Monday.
The Golden Eagles enter Thursday's games with a 2-15 (0-4 NSIC) mark. They opened up their NSIC slate last weekend in West. St. Paul, Minn., losing two games to Concordia University, St. Paul and two games to Minnesota State University, Mankato. Minnesota Crookston has been led at the plate this season by
Ashley Manusos (Sr., OF, Spring Grove, Ill./Sports and Rec Management), who is batting .291 with four runs scored and five RBI's. Manusos has five doubles this season and one home run. In addition to Manusos,
Josee Plante (Jr., 3B, Manitou, Manitoba/Health Science) is batting .289 with six runs scored and three RBI's with one home run.

Paige Schaust (Sr., OF/P, Delano, Minn./Early Childhood Education) leads the team with a 2-5 mark and a 5.90 ERA in 39.2 innings pitched. Schaust kept the Golden Eagles in both games she pitched Sunday and Monday against Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State.
U-Mary is 18-12 (3-3 NSIC) entering Thursday's games. The Marauders split fames with University of Sioux Falls March 29 and lost a pair to Southwest Minnesota State University March 30. The Marauders are coached by KJ Kelley, who is in her first season with the Marauders after serving as an assistant at University of Toledo for the last four years. The Marauders are led at the plate by Allison Brown, who is hitting .442 with 28 runs scored, five home runs and 27 RBI's. In the circle, Cherlyn Trujillo leads the way with a 7-5 mark and a 2.12 ERA in 82.2 innings pitched.
