Warrensburg, Mo. -- Minnesota Crookston men's golf opened up the 2026 fall season in a stacked field at The Mule, hosted by Central Missouri.

The 36-hole day for the Golden Eagles ended in 10th place for the maroon and gold out of 20 teams, after shooting five over through the first 18 holes and 10 over during the last 18 on Tuesday.

Perennial power Central Oklahoma paces the field by 15 strokes, while host Central Missouri is in second at three under. Missouri Southern sits in third place.

Minnesota Crookston was led by Andrew Wilhelm (Sr., West Fargo, N.D.), who sits in a tie for 12th following a second round 67. His score of 67 is tied for the program record with five other golfers, including two of his teammates in Marc Bofarull Balleste (Sr., Barcelona, Spain) and Jack Justesen (Jr., Hawley, Minn.).

Kolby Koerner (Fr., Grand Forks, N.D.) is in a tie for 38th and was helped by his career low of 70 in the first round of his collegiate career. Justesen and Bofarull Balleste are each tied for 44th after shooting six over on the day.

Brock Burhans (Fr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.) is in a tie for 61st after shooting nine over through the first two rounds on the day.

Minnesota Crookston's first round score of 285 as a team is tied for the second best score in program history.

The Golden Eagles will enter the final round tomorrow just four strokes shy of Washburn University for fourth place.
