Blue Springs, Mo. – After day one at the NSIC Championships in Missouri, Minnesota Crookston men's golf sits in a tie for seventh with Augustana.
Bemidji State and Concordia-St. Paul are comfortably in a tie for first, sitting at six over par and are five strokes better than Winona State.
Logan Schoepp of Bemidji State shot an unreal four under par and he sits in first with 36 holes to go.
Minnesota Crookston shot 311 as a team on the day and they were led by former NSIC Golfer of the Week,
Lukas Justesen (Sr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.), who is in third after carding an even par 72 on the day.
Connor Czirjak (So., Calgary, Alberta) is in a tie for 26
th, while
Andrew Wilhelm (So., Fargo, N.D.) and
Marc Bofarull Balleste (So., Barcelona, Spain) are in a tie for 31
st.
The Golden Eagles will look to move their way up the leaderboard tomorrow for the second round at the NSIC Championships.
