Andover, Kan. -- After a week off, Minnesota Crookston men's golf is back in action on Monday and Tuesday at the Newman Invite, hosted by Newman University at the Terradyne Country Club in Andover, Kan.

The three-round, two day tournament will see the first two rounds played on Monday and the final round played on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles lineup has been fairly consistent this season and has seen the same five for nearly every round. Marc Bofarull Balleste (Sr., Barcelona, Spain) and Andrew Wilhelm (Sr., Fargo, N.D.) have been the seniors in the lineup and they have been joined by Jack Justesen (Jr., Hawley, Minn.) and freshmen Brock Burhans (Fr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.) and Kolby Koerner (Fr., Grand Forks, N.D.).

During their last tournament in St. Joseph, Mo., the Golden Eagles shot 280 as a team in the second round, good for a school record.

The Golden Eagles won the Newman Invite a year ago.

The field joining the maroon and gold will be a challenging one. Central Missouri, Rogers State, Washburn, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Arkansas, Arkansas Fort-Smith, Central Oklahoma, Concordia-St. Paul, Missouri Southern State, Missouri Western State, Northeastern State, Rockhurst, Newman, Minnesota State and Pittsburg State will be in the field.
