Topeka, Kan. -- Minnesota Crookston men's golf is back in Kansas for the second straight weekend and tournament, as they compete in the Washburn Invite, hosted by Washburn University.

Minnesota Crookston is coming off a tie for 14th place at the Newman Invite last weekend.

Minnesota Crookston heads into this weekend ranked 96th in the nation and 18th in the region. The Golden Eagles will hope for a strong finish with two tournaments left in the fall.

At the Newman Invite, Minnesota Crookston had a solid first day, including shooting 295 as a team, but struggled in the final round and moved down five spots.

The Golden Eagles have kept the same four in the lineup for every tournament this season; Freshmen Kolby Koerner (Fr., Grand Forks, N.D.) and Brock Burhans (Fr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.) have seen their name in the top five, while seniors Marc Bofarull Balleste (Sr., Barcelona, Spain) and Andrew Wilhelm (Sr., Fargo, N.D.) have been in the lineup, as well.

Connor Czirjak (Sr., Calgary, Alberta) finished 15th last weekend as an individual.

The three round tournament will tee off tomorrow with two rounds and finish on Tuesday with the final round.
