Crookston, Minn. - The Golden Eagles are set to wrap up the regular season with back to back conference home games. On Friday at 5 p.m., the Golden Eagles will host the University of Mary, who is currently fourth in the conference standings. On Saturday at 2:30 p.m., Minnesota State University Moorhead will be in town, they are seventh in the conference standings. The Golden Eagles are currently sixth, and in a three way tie for fifth that includes MSU Moorhead.
Nadia Cases Mundet (So., Barcelona, Spain) and Blaike Zander (Sr., Bismarck, N.D.) lead the Golden Eagles in singles each boasting a 7-4 record, Daniela de Lucas Rivera (So., Madrid, Spain) and Abril Manas Hernandez (Fr., Barcelona, Spain) are currently tied for second on the team with a 6-3 record.
In doubles, Nadia Cases Mundet and Kavya Singh (Jr., Agra, India) lead the way at 5-4. Daniela de Lucas Rivera and Ariadna Solis Guals (So., Santpedor, Spain) are right behind them at 3-5.
The Marauders. In singles, the University of Mary is led by Chloe Chong Zhi Jing at 7-6, Ilona Freitag and Maria Estinvil are both 6-7.
In doubles, Ilona Freitag and Chloe Chong Zhi Jing lead the way at 6-6.
The Dragons. The Dragons are led by Shaelyn Johnson in singles at 9-5, Tiannah Gu is at 9-4, and Luzmary Diaz is currently at 8-4.
In doubles, it is Shaelyn Johnson and Luzmary Diaz at 10-5 leading the way.
