Crookston, Minn. - The Golden Eagles are finally back home after over a month of road and neutral site games. There are only three home matches left on the schedule, and following this one they will head back on the road for a week before getting a week off and coming back for their final two home matches.
This will be the fifth conference game for the Golden Eagles, as they currently sit with a 2-2 record against NSIC opponents. The Golden Eagles are hoping to snap their current two game losing streak.
In singles, the Golden Eagles are led by Nadia Cases Mundet (So., Barcelona, Spain) and Blaike Zander (Sr., Bismarck, N.D.) who are both 5-1. Daniela de Lucas Rivera (So., Madrid, Spain) is 4-0, Abril Manas Hernandez (Fr., Barcelona, Spain) sits at 4-2, and Asli Oktay (Fr., Istanbul, Turkey) is 3-2.
In doubles, Daniela de Lucas Rivera and Ariadna Solis Guals (So., Santpedor, Spain) lead the Golden Eagles with a 3-0 record and Nadia Cases Mundet and Kavya Singh (Jr., Agra, India) lead the Golden Eagles have a 3-2 record.
The Beavers. The Beavers enter this match with a 4-5 overall record, also sitting at 2-2 in NSIC play. The Beavers will also come in on a two game losing streak.
In singles, the Beavers are led by Mia Leshem who is 5-2, sitting right behind her are Sophie Groen at 5-3 and Lauren Rutten at 5-4.
In doubles, Mia Leshem and Sophie Groen lead the way at 4-2.
This match is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. at Choice Health and Fitness in Grand Forks, N.D. on Friday.
