Fargo, N.D. - Following an 11 day hiatus, the Golden Eagles returned to the north for a couple of NSIC games. The first of which was against the University of Sioux Falls in Fargo for a neutral site matchup. Sadly, this one did not go the Golden Eagles way.
In doubles, Ariadna Solis Guals (So., Santpedor, Spain) and Daniela de Lucas Rivera (So., Madrid, Spain) fell by a score of 6-1, Blaike Zander (Sr., Bismarck, N.D.) and Asli Oktay (Fr., Istanbul, Turkey) lost 6-2, and Kavya Singh (Jr., Agra, India) and Nadia Cases Mundet (So., Barcelona, Spain) won 7-6.
In singles, de Lucas Rivera lost 6-3 twice, Oktay lost 6-1 and 6-4, Solis Guals won 6-4, lost 6-2 and won 10-7 to win her match, Cases Mundet won 6-1 before losing 7-5 and 6-1 to drop her match, Zander lost 6-4 and 6-1, Singh lost 6-3, won 6-4 and then lost her match in a 10-7 match.
The Golden Eagles are back in action tomorrow as they take on Augustana University in Fargo, N.D. at 5:30 p.m.
