La Crosse, Wisc. - Golden Eagle Hockey will play Maryville University with a trip to Nationals hanging in the balance. A year ago in Regionals, Maryville earned a day two upset over the Golden Eagles. Now the Golden Eagles will have a chance to upset the Saints. Puck drop is set for 1:30 p.m.

This is a huge matchup, with the Golden Eagles coming in as the underdogs for the second day in a row. The Golden Eagles will hope for the same offensive success from their game against Marian, which included a three goal run in 52 seconds. When the Golden Eagles hit the ice tomorrow, they will be playing for their first ever trip to Nationals.

The Golden Eagle Player to Watch for Sunday's game is Fox Dodds (R-Jr., F, Watford City, N.D.) who has three goals and three assists for six points in two games. Dodds has been a consistent scorer for the Golden Eagles, with 51 goals through his first two seasons with the Golden Eagles. His play in the Regional Tournament has been a massive reason for the Golden Eagles two wins. 

The Golden Eagles and Saints will go toe to toe tomorrow, one team's season will come to an end while the other will head to St. Louis in March. Neither team has ever been to Nationals, with Maryville's program starting up a year before the Golden Eagles. These 60 minutes will be the most important 60 minutes of every single member of the Golden Eagles rosters career.
