Crookston, Minn. - Golden Eagle Tennis is back on the road this weekend for a Friday afternoon match with the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Saturday morning match with St. Cloud State University. The Golden Eagles head into the weekend with a 2-2 record on the season.
The Golden Eagles dominated their last matchup this past Sunday against Concordia College 7-0, and hope to carry that momentum into a weekend of conference play, their first conference matches of the 2025 season.
The Bulldogs. The Bulldogs come into this match with a 2-0 record on the season. In singles, they are led by Olivia Honsey with a 2-0 record and Brynne Folden with a 1-0 record.
In doubles, they are led by Isabelle Simon and Courtney Eppen with a 1-0 record, and Lilly Nelson and Brynne Folden with a 1-0 record.
The Huskies. The Huskies are coming into this match with a 1-1 record. Leading the way in singles for the Huskies are Lara-Maria Schaefer with a 2-0 record and Gibby Chapman with a 1-0 record.
In doubles, Oriana Grott and Brooklyn Broadwell are 1-0, Maria Paz Aoki and Johana Brower have a 1-1 record.
