Crookston, Minn. – It was a record setting Wednesday night for Minnesota Crookston men's basketball, who splashed in a school record 21 threes in a 115-53 thrashing of Oak Hills Christian College.
The 62 point victory for the Golden Eagles is also a school record for margin of victory. The 115 points scored is also a school record in the Division II record, breaking the previous record of 111 scored all the way back in 2004, a 118-111 loss in overtime to Wayne State College.

Later in the half,
Brayden Carlson (Fr., C, Woodbury, Minn.) would finish a runner and
J.D. Roberts (Jr., F, Parkville, Mo.) would splash another three for a 39-23 advantage.
Leading 41-30, the Golden Eagles would go on an 18-0 run to push their lead to 59-30, capped off by a
Caiden Swenby (So., G, Fertile, Minn.) three from the left corner.
Minnesota Crookston would lead by 26 following the first 20.
The Golden Eagles would take a 76-38 lead midway through the second half on a
Quincy Everson (Fr., G, Goodyear, Ariz.) three-point make.
The last six minutes of play would be the
Brady Westphal (Fr., G, West Fargo, N.D.) show. The freshman would bury four threes in the final minutes for a career-high 12 points in the 62 point win.
The Golden Eagles saw six scorers in double-figures, led by Mukoma, Jr., and his 19 points and seven rebounds. Lorenson finished with a career-high 14 points and a career-high 3-3 from long range. Hunter also dished out a career watermark of five assists Lindsey poured in 13 points. Westphal added a career-high 12 points, while Swenby and Everson each finished with 11 points.
