FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston women's cross country team placed 19th of 25 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. The Golden Eagles improved their standing by 10 spots from last season's finish.
Madison Hilliard (Jr., Jacksonville, N.C.) had a strong showing for the Golden Eagles, placing 59th and finishing in 24:38.3. Hilliard took 43 seconds off her time from last season. Anna Grabowski (Sr., Waterdown, Ontario) finished in 25:21.4. Katelyn Mack (Sr., Frazee, Minn.) clocked in at 28:17.0. Mack did not run the Roy Griak Invitational in 2023. Grace Alwardt (So., Lake Elsinore, Calif.) clocked in at 28:18.9. Madison Elijah (Sr., Hebron, Ind.) finished in 28:40.7. Eva Robinson (Fr., Cavalier, N.D.) finished her first 6K at the collegiate level in 28:44.3. Evelyn Dupont (So., Las Vegas, Nev.) clocked in at 29:50.6. Catie Neumann (So., Alexandria, Minn.) clocked in at 30:08.1.
Minnesota Crookston will continue the 2024 season October 5 at The Runnings of the Cows in Northfield, Minn.
