Wayne, Neb. - The Golden Eagles had a program record showing at the NSIC Championship this weekend, finishing in seventh amongst the 16 competing programs. The previous high for the Golden Eagles was 11th in 2024. It was also the fewest points for the Golden Eagles in program history, besting their previous record of 310 which was also set in 2024.
From an individual standpoint, Natalie Wood (R-So., Big Timber, Mont.) finished in 21st, which is a new program record. Wood finished with a time of 23:05. Madison Hilliard (Sr., Jacksonville, N.C.) was next for the Golden Eagles, finishing 40th with a time of 23:46. Morgan Shaw (Jr., Redmond, Ore.) placed 52nd with a time of 24:05. Caroline Kuehne (So., Long Prairie, Minn.) finished 60th at a time of 24:19. Grace Alwardt (Jr., Lake Elsinore, Calif.) placed 69th with a time of 24:27. Rivyn Dipadova (Fr., Soldiers Grove, Wis.) set a new personal record, finishing with a time of 26:18 and placing 107th. Amber Collins (Fr., Deer Creek, Minn.) placed 114th with a time of 26:36. Annelise Offerdahl (Fr., Circle Pines, Minn.) came in at 133rd with a time of 29:00. Emma Williams (Jr., Nashwauk, Minn.) finished 135th with a time of 29:12.
Next up for the Golden Eagles is the NCAA Central Region Championship. Regionals will take place Saturday, November 8th in Joplin, Missouri. The women's race will begin at 10 a.m.
