Sioux Falls, S.D. – Minnesota Crookston women's golf had a fantastic two rounds at the Augustana University Invitational, finishing in the top half of the 10 team field in fifth place.
 
The fifth place finish for the Golden Eagles is tied for the second highest finish of the season. They finished fifth at their first tournament of the season at the Tracy Lane Memorial and then had a fifth place finish at the Winona State Invitational.
 
Augustana placed at the top of the tournament, while Concordia-St. Paul and Minot State finished in second and third, respectively. Sioux Falls and the Golden Eagles rounded out the top-five.
 
Anaka Lysne (So., Wahpeton, N.D.) led the way for the Golden Eagles and golfed her way to her third top-10 finish of the season, finishing in a tie for 10
th. Lysne shot a 79 on the day. 
Clara Hanson (Jr., Grand Forks, N.D.) finished in a tie for 19
th, shooting an 85 during the second round, after shooting an 84 yesterday. 
Lauren Bowyer (So., Ivanhoe, Minn.) improved upon her ranking from yesterday by nine spots, finishing in a tie for 23
rd, after shooting 84 on the day, five strokes better than yesterday.
 
Libby Dulmage (Fr., Leeds, N.D.) shot 89 for the second straight day and finished tied for 33
rd.
 
The Golden Eagles will now have some time to gear up for the NSIC Championships in Missouri. The Golden Eagles will next compete at the Conference Championships on April 26-28, in Smithville, Mo.
