Minnesota Crookston Trap Posts Best Scores of Fall Season in Week Four

CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston trap team remains in sixth in their conference in the USA College Clay Target League after week four of the 2024 fall season. The Golden Eagles posted their top overall score of the season with 1,055.50. Minnesota Crookston is just 181 points behind Lake Area Technical College in fifth, heading into the final week of the fall season.

Jayden Bergerson (Jr., Gully, Minn.), Kelsey Harms (Jr., Norwood Young America, Minn.), and Heather Kaup (Sr., Forest Lake, Minn.) all hit rounds of 25-straight in week four. Lily Krona (Sr., Bemidji, Minn.) is tied for sixth in the entire USA College Clay Target League for female shooters with an average of 23.88. Krona is fifth in Conference 6 among females with an average of 23.88. Gracie Lunsetter (Sr., Gatzke, Minn.) is tied for ninth for females in the conference with a 23.13 average.

Harms guided Minnesota Crookston in week four, connecting on 49-of-50 targets. Bergerson, and Kaup were both 48-of-50 for the week. Hunter Kasprowicz (Sr., Radium, Minn.), Krona, Evan Singsank (Sr., Watertown, Minn.), and Garrison Worthen (Fr., went 46-of-50. Allison Jepson (So., Frazee, Minn.), Chase Nelson (So., Red Lake Falls, Minn.), and Braxton Qual (So., Mahnomen, Minn.) hit 45-of-50 targets. Kallen Littler (Fr., Bemidji, Minn.), Louis Siegel (Jr., Anoka, Minn.), and Codey Wolff (Jr., Wadena, Minn.) went 44-of-50 in week four. Ethan Benedict (Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.) was 43-of-50 for the Golden Eagles in the fourth week. Ellen Payne (Sr., St. Louis Park, Minn.), and C.J. Walsh both were successful on 42-of-50 targets. Collin Schlomann (Sr., Lake Lillian, Minn.), and Nathaniel Siemieniewski (Sr., Climax, Minn.) went 41-of-50 for Minnesota Crookston. Hunter Pierson (Jr., Saint Hilaire, Minn.), and Kara Wold (So., Belgrade, Minn.) each hit 40-of-50 for the week.
