Minnesota Crookston Trap Sits in Sixth after Week Three of Fall Slate

CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston trap team is in sixth place of seven teams after the third week of the USA College Clay Target League fall season. They are in 1A Conference 6 for the 2024 fall slate. Minnesota Crookston has 2,620.50 points. They currently lead Alfred State College, and trail Lake Area Technical College by only 17 points.

Jayden Bergerson (Jr., Gully, Minn.), Lily Krona (Sr., Bemidji, Minn.), and Garrison Worthen (Fr., Prior Lake, Minn.) all had rounds of 25 straight last week. Krona is tied for fifth among all females in the USA College Clay Target League with an average of 24.17. Krona is fifth in Conference 6 for females.

Krona, Evan Singsank (Sr., Watertown, Minn.), and Worthen led Minnesota Crookston in week three, hitting 48-of-50 targets. Bergerson, and Gracie Lunsetter (Sr., Gatzke, Minn.) went 46-of-50. Hunter Kasprowicz (Sr., Radium, Minn.), and Chase Nelson (So., Red Lake Falls, Minn.) hit 45-of-50 targets. Ethan Benedict (Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.), Allison Jepson (So., Frazee, Minn.), Heather Kaup (Sr., Forest Lake, Minn.), Kallen Littler (Fr., Bemidji, Minn.), Ellen Payne (Sr., St. Louis Park, Minn.), and Kara Wold (So., Belgrade, Minn.) all went 44-of-50 for the week. C.J. Walsh, and Codey Wolff (Jr., Wadena, Minn.) each hit 43-of-50 targets. Kelsey Harms (So, Norwood Young America, Minn.), Hunter Pierson (Jr., Saint Hilaire, Minn.), and Collin Schlomann (Sr., Lake Lillian, Minn.) went 42-of-50 for the week.
