CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's golf team is set to compete in the 2023 NSIC Women's Golf Championship Friday, April 28-Sunday, April 30 at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Mo.
The Golden Eagles come into the weekend averaging 349.7. Their best round was a program best September 18, 2022 as they carded a 319 at the Tipsinah Mounds Invitational. Minnesota Crookston finished 12
th out of 13 teams at the 2022 NSIC Women's Golf Championship.
The Golden Eagles are guided by
Anaka Lysne (Fr., Wahpeton, N.D.), who is averaging 82.3. She has two Top 10 finishes. Lysne shot a program-record 72 at the Tipsinah Mounds Invite. She has three rounds under 80 this season.
Clara Hanson (So., Grand Forks, N.D.) is averaging 85.2.
Lauren Bowyer (Fr., Ivanhoe, Minn.) is notching a 91.1 for the season, with a low round of 81.
Tiffany Kozojed (Sr., Hillsboro, N.D.) is carding a 96.8, while
Denali Johnson (So., Grand Rapids, Minn.) is averaging 98.9.
