CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston tennis program looks to build on their best start in program history as they embark for Florida for two matches. The Golden Eagles enter the Sunshine State with a 5-2 (2-1 NSIC) mark.
Minnesota Crookston will take on Baldwin Wallace University Friday, March 10 at 11:30 a.m. C.T., at Sanlando Tennis Complex in Altamonte Springs, Fla. UMN Crookston will then face Bentley University Saturday, March 11 at 7:30 a.m. C.T., at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.

Madeleine Schneider (Jr., Gartringen, Germany) leads the way with a 6-1 mark at the No. 1 singles spot. Schneider has already slashed the all-time No. 1 singles mark, previously set by Catherine Brown.
Blaike Zander (So., Bismarck, N.D.) enters the week with a 3-4 record at No. 2 singles.
Kavya Singh (So., Agra, India) is 4-2 at the No. 3 singles slot.
Michelle Swyter (Sr., Perham, Minn.) comes in with a 4-2 record at No. 4 singles.
Sarah Velasquez (Sr., Chino, Calif.) is 5-1 at No. 5.
Ashley Chomyn (Sr., Winnipeg, Manitoba) enters the weekend with a 4-2 record at the No. 6 slot.
In doubles, the No. 1 pair of Zander and Singh boasts a 4-2 mark. The No. 2 pair of Velasquez and Schneider is 3-3. The No. 3 pair of
Tasha Achermann (Sr., Motley, Minn.) and
Kaydance Hinn (So., Coon Rapids, Minn.) is 1-2.
Baldwin Wallace out of Berea, Ohio, comes in with a 1-5 record. Gabriela Heideman is 2-4 at the No. 1 singles slot. In doubles, Heideman and Kierstyn Yates are 2-4.
Bentley is out of Waltham, Mass. The Falcons enter the week with a 3-7 record. At No. 1 singles, Makena Romagnano is 2-6. At the No. 4 slot, Libby Keefe is 2-2. In doubles, the No. 1 pair of Adriano Hiraldo and Maria Mella has a 3-5 record.
