Biography

2022 (Tennis): Chomyn went 6-2 at No. 6 singles for the Golden Eagles in 2022, sitting at second in singles wins for UMN Crookston in 2022...Did not play doubles in 2022 for the Golden Eagles.

2021 (Soccer): Chomyn played in and started 12 games for the Golden Eagles in 2021...She had seven shots, with one shot on goal...Chomyn played in 982 minutes in 2021. 

2021 (Tennis): Chomyn went 0-11 in singles during the 2021 tennis season...She played at No. 3 singles for the Golden Eagles...Chomyn went 0-11 in doubles, competing at the No. 2 slot. 

2020 (Soccer): The 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19. 

2020 (Tennis): Chomyn went 0-9 at the No. 3 singles position in her debut for the tennis team...Went 0-5 with Karli Renney at No. 2 doubles...Posted an 0-1 mark at No. 2 doubles with Samantha Hartung.

2019 (Freshman): Chomyn saw action in all 16 games for the Golden Eagles, and started 4 of those games. Chomyn played a full 90 minute game against the University of Mary and recorded a shot attempt against the Marauders as well. Chomyn was a key component in the back line of the Golden Eagle defense during her freshman campaign.

Prior to Minnesota Crookston: Chomyn helped lead her team to second place at the Canadian Club Nationals. She participated in the Blizzard pre-university program. Chomyn made the honor roll from grades 9-11. She went to high school at St. Mary’s Academy.

Personal: She is the daughter of Ken Chomyn. Chomyn plans to major in communication. She was born July 17, 2001. Her father Ken Chomyn played golf at University of Southern Mississippi.
