CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston hockey team is set to trek to the University of Mary Monday, January 16 at 2 p.m. at the Schwan Cadillac Rink in Mandan, N.D. UMary is ranked No. 1 in the nation. The Golden Eagles are currently ranked 19^th nationally.

The Golden Eagles enter Monday's game with a 16-2 (10-2 WCCHA) mark. UMN Crookston has won five-straight games. They are coming off a sweep of St. Cloud State University last weekend. UMary comes into the weekend with a 26-4-1 record.

Minnesota Crookston is guided by the play of Logan Syrup (So., F, Park River, N.D.), with 23 goals and 21 assists. Jackson Fuller (So., F, Minneapolis, Minn.) comes in with 14 goals and 18 assists. Zach Larson (Jr., F, Grand Forks, N.D.) has 15 goals and 15 assists entering Monday. Tyler Zahradka (Jr., F, Grand Forks, N.D.) comes in with 14 goals and 12 assists. Jake Huska (Jr., D, Snow Lake, Manitoba) leads all defensemen with five goals and 12 assists.

In goal, Minnesota Crookston has utilized four goalies. Jake Sumner (Jr., G, Alta Loma, Calif.) has a 2.41 goals against average in seven games. Jared Aamold (So., G, Breckenridge, Minn.) has a 2.43 goals against average in nine games. Braden Schmitz (So., G, Devils Lake, N.D.) has a 2.74 goals against average in six games. Wyatt Olsonawski (Fr., G, Hallock, Minn.) made his debut on Saturday after joining the team at the semester. He has a 0.00 goals against average.

UMary is led by Isaiah Thomas with 13 goals and 22 assists. Johnny Witzke comes in with 11 goals and 22 assists for the Marauders. Alexander Flicek enters Monday with eight goals and 23 helpers. Seth Cushing has 16 goals and 13 assists on the season, while Caleb Petrie has 10 goals and 17 helpers.

In goal, Kyle Hayden leads the way with a 0.99 goals against average in 20 games. Conan Hayton has a 2.11 goals against average in 12 games this season.
