BEMIDJI, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's golf team is in fourth place out of nine teams at the Tracy Lane Memorial at the Bemidji Town and Country Club in Bemidji, Minn. The Golden Eagles carded a team score of 345, just three points off the school record and good for the third-best round in school history and best since 2016.
Anaka Lysne (Fr., Wahpeton, N.D.) is in a tie for seventh after shooting a 79. Lysne's round ties for sixth for the best round in program history in her debut as a Golden Eagle.
Abby Stender (R-Sr., Madison, Minn.) carded a round of 87.
Clara Hanson (So., Grand Forks, N.D.) shot an 89.
Lauren Bowyer (Fr., Ivanhoe, Minn.) carded a round of 90.
Tiffany Kozojed (Jr., Hillsboro, N.D.) shot a 97.
Competing as an individual,
Denali Johnson (So., Grand Rapids, Minn.) shot a 98, while
Ciera Kotaska (Jr., Thief River Falls, Minn.) shot a 117.
Minnesota State University is in the lead with a 315. They are two strokes ahead of Winona State University. Minnesota Crookston trails Concordia University-St. Paul by 15 strokes. The Golden Eagles lead University of Mary by four strokes. They are also ahead of Bemidji State University, Minot State University, Concordia College, and Minnesota State University Moorhead.
