CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston men's cross country team opens up the 2022 season Friday, September 2 at the Augustana Twilight at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, S.D. at 9 p.m. It will be a four mile race for the men's cross country team.
The race will commence the 2022 season for the Golden Eagles. Minnesota Crookston returns four student-athletes from last year's roster.
Colton Uber (R-So., Brunswick, Ohio) was the program's NSIC Player to Watch this season. Uber ran a 29:05.8 at the 2021 NSIC Men's Cross Country Championship. Uber ran a 29:03.1 at the Roy Griak Invitational last season. The Golden Eagles also return
Warden Dahlgren (R-So., Edgeley, N.D.),
Chris Feldewerd (R-So., Melrose, Minn.), and
Tristan Morneault (R-So., Dieppe, New Brunswick). Morneault ran a 28:39.54 at the NSIC Men's Cross Country Championship in 2021. Feldewerd clocked in at 29:20.03 at the NSIC Championship, while Dahlgren finished with a 29:48.15.

Connor Thoennes (Fr., Coleraine, Minn.),
Javi Xiong (Jr., Brooklyn Park, Minn.),
Riley Hanson (Fr., Farmington, Minn.), and
Zach Hanson (Fr., Farmington, Minn.) to the roster.
