Reller Named to 2021 D2CCA All-Central Region Second Team

ST. PAUL, Minn. – University of Minnesota Crookston baseball player Brock Reller (Sr., OF, Grand Forks, N.D.) was named to the 2021 D2CCA Central Region Second Team. Reller is the third player in school history to earn the accolade joining Reed Hjelle who was named to the D2CCA Central Region First Team in 2018 and 2019, and Kenny Perez who was named to the Central Region Second Team in 2016.

Reller was an All-NSIC First Team selection for the Golden Eagles. He hit .338 as a senior with a .448 on-base percentage and a .803 slugging percentage. Reller was the NSIC's leader in home runs. He had 17 on the season. Reller added 39 runs scored, seven doubles, and four triples. He is UMN Crookston's all-time career home run leader and single-season home run leader. Reller helped Minnesota Crookston to their best season ever, as they picked up their first-ever NCAA Division II ranking reaching as high as No. 18 in the NCBWA poll. The Golden Eagles advanced to the NSIC Tournament for the fifth time, and picked up three wins, falling just one win from the NSIC Championship Game.

Dusty Stroup of the University of Central Missouri was named D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year. Zach Parish of Missouri Southern State University was named the D2CCA Central Region Pitcher of the Year.
Reller was joined on the teams by 10 other NSIC players. Will Olson of Augustana University, Joey Werner, Jon Ludwig, Collin Denk, and Nick Altermatt of Minnesota State University were all named to the first team. Carter Howell and Ryan Jares of Augustana, Jarod Wandersee of Concordia University- St. Paul, Austin Savary of Winona State University, and Hunter Even of Minnesota State were also selected to the second team.
