GREENWOOD, Ind. - The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team had five student-athletes named to the Academic All-District Team, as selected by the College Sports Communicators. The Golden Eagles have had 31 student-athletes named Academic All-District during the 2025-26 season. Minnesota Crookston was represented by Aaron Wensloff (Jr., Roseau, Minn.), Kyle Odenbach (Sr., Thompson, N.D.), Isaac Wensloff (Sr., Roseau, Minn.), Caden Kappes (Jr., Wahpeton, N.D.), and Cole Hebl (R-So., Hillsboro, N.D.).
To be considered for Academic All-District one must have a GPA of 3.5 or above, they must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and they must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances OR pitched 35 innings. Â
Hebl has a 3.97 GPA in finance. He hit .330 in 52 games played for the Golden Eagles. Kappes has a 3.82 GPA in sport and recreation management. He hit .284 in 48 games played as a junior. Odenbach had a 3.96 GPA in health sciences and had a 7.46 ERA in 35 innings pitched. Aaron Wensloff posted a 3.98 GPA in accounting and hit .284 in 51 games played. Isaac Wensloff had a 3.57 GPA in elementary education and posted a 5.12 ERA in 65 innings pitched.Â
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.Â
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.Â
