CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's tennis team will head to the Virginia Indoor Tennis Club to play matches against Minnesota State University Moorhead and University of Mary. The Golden Eagles will take on MSU Moorhead April 1 at 3 p.m. and U-Mary April 2 at 8 a.m.
Minnesota Crookston is down to the final four matches of the season. The Golden Eagles come in with a 0-11 mark on the season. The Golden Eagles are led at No. 1 singles by
Whitney Erickson (Jr., Spring Valley, Minn.), who is 0-10 at No. 1 singles, while
Hanna Ruckheim (Fr., Parkers Prairie, Minn.) is 1-7 at the No. 3 slot.
In doubles, the No. 1 pair of
Reanne Erickson (So., Fargo, N.D.) and
Whitney Erickson have posted a 0-9 mark.
MSU Moorhead has posted a 9-5 (4-3 NSIC) mark on the 2017 season. The Dragons are led at No. 1 singles by Jessamy Jones, who has posted a 9-4 mark. At No. 2 singles, Olivia Keelin is 8-2 on the season. In doubles, the No. 2 pair of Keelin and Alexis Konecne is 8-3 on the season.
The Marauders have posted a 3-9 (1-6 NSIC) record. U-Mary has been led at No. 1 singles by Catherine Gibbens, who is 3-2 on the season. At No. 2 singles, Lucia Bolibruch has put up a 3-3 record. In doubles, the pair of Bolibruch and Meredith Holt are 3-4 at the No. 2 spot.
