CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston tennis team will head to Bismarck, N.D. for a pair of matches this weekend. The Golden Eagles will take on Minnesota State University Moorhead April 2 at 2 p.m. in Bismarck, N.D. They will then battle University o Mary April 3 at 12:30 p.m.
The Golden Eagles are 0-11 on the season coming into the weekend. They are in their second season under Head Coach

Catherine Brown (Powell Butte, Ore.) this season. Brown is currently 6-5 on the season at the No. 1 singles position. In addition, Brown and
Whitney Erickson (So., Spring Valley, Minn.) come in with a 2-9 mark at No. 1 doubles. Erickson comes in with a 2-9 mark at No. 2 singles.
MSU Moorhead comes in with a 6-4 mark overall and a 5-2 NSIC record on the season. The Dragons are led by Jessamy Jones, who is 7-3 at No. 1 singles. At the No. 2 slot, Jade Goodyear-Anderson is 5-5 at the No. 2 singles slot. In doubles, Goodyear-Anderson and Maria Moral Carretero are 4-6 at No. 1 doubles.
U-Mary comes in with a 4-8 mark on the 2016 season. They are 2-5 in the NSIC. The Marauders are led in singles by Sarah Janes, who is 4-5 at the No. 1 slot. At No. 2, Catherine Gibbens comes in with a 6-3 record for U-Mary.
In doubles, the Marauders are led by Janes and Meredith Holt, who enter the weekend with a 3-7 mark at the No. 1 slot. At No. 2 doubles, Gibbens and Eileen Leong are 4-6 at No. 2.
