CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston tennis team will take on Bemidji State University Sun., March 6 at 10 a.m. at Choice Health and Fitness in Grand Forks, N.D. The Golden Eagles enter the weekend with a 0-7 mark on the 2016 season.
Minnesota Crookston has been led thus far by
Catherine Brown (Sr., Powell Butte, Ore.), who comes in with a 3-4 mark at the No. 1 singles slot. At No. 2 singles,
Whitney Erickson (So., Spring Valley, Minn.) enters the weekend with a 1-6 mark.
In doubles, the No. 1 pair of Brown and Erickson is 1-6 on the season.
UMC will take on Bemidji State for the second time this season. The Beavers took the first match 7-2 in Bemidji, Minn. Feb. 6. Bemidji State is led on the season by Morgan Opp, who is 4-0 at No. 3 singles. Justine Scheller comes in with a 4-2 mark at No. 6 singles, while Shaylin Prout is 1-4 at No. 1 singles.
In doubles, the No. 2 pair of Opp and Zoe Lindgren enter Saturday with a 4-0 mark.
