CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston tennis team will head to Bemidji, Minn., this weekend to take on University of Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State University. The matches will be held at the Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center on the campus of Bemidji State University.
The Golden Eagles will take on UMD Sat., Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. UMC will then battle St. Cloud State Sun., Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. Minnesota Crookston comes into the weekend with an 0-3 mark in the second year under Head Coach

Minnesota Crookston is led by
Catherine Brown (Sr., Powell Butte, Ore.), who has had a strong start to the 2016 season, her final year at UMC, with a 2-1 mark at No. 1 singles with wins over Bemidji State University and Winona State University. At the No. 1 doubles position, Brown and
Whitney Erickson (Fr., Spring Valley, Minn.) come in with a 1-2 mark after a win at No. 1 doubles over Bemidji State.
Minnesota Duluth enters the weekend with a 0-4 overall mark. The Bulldogs are led by Kaitlin Wohnoutka and Jillian Klassen with 2-2 records on the season in singles. In doubles, the No. 1 pair of Shelby Benkofske and Drew DeCorsey come in with a 2-2 mark on the year.
St. Cloud State is 1-3 on the 2016 season. The Huskies are led by Alexie Portz at No. 5 singles, who is 3-1 on the season. In doubles, the No. 1 pair of Abigail Kantor and Quintino dos Santtos comes in with a 2-1 mark.
