CROOKSTON, Minn.-  The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team will take on University of North Dakota Mon., April 6 at 2 p.m. at Kraft Memorial Field in Grand Forks, N.D. The Golden Eagles and UND will play just one game Tuesday. The game will mark the final non-conference game of the 2015 season for the Golden Eagles.

The Golden Eagles enter Monday with a 8-19 mark on the season. UMC has been led on the season by
Ryan Haggstrom (Jr., 1B/RHP, Apple Valley, Minn.), who comes in with a .358 batting average, 25 runs scored, six doubles, two triples and 22 runs bated in (RBI's). In addition to Haggstrom, Jesse Jennings (Sr., OF, Robbinsdale, Minn./Criminal Justice) comes in with a .352 batting average, 12 runs scored, one double, two triples and nine RBI's. Kenny Perez (Sr., DH/1B, Orlando, Fla./Health Science) has also had a strong season for the Golden Eagles, hitting .343 with 16 runs scored, eight doubles, one triple and a team-leading 26 RBI's and four home runs.

On the bump, Nolan Wahlberg (Sr., RHP, Blaine, Minn./Criminal Justice) has led the team with a 4-3 mark and a 4.25 earned runs average (ERA) in 48.2 innings pitched. Wahlberg has 23 strikeouts on the year. Wyatt Huso (R-Fr., RHP, Eagan, Minn./Agricultural Systems Management) has been strong out of the bullpen, with a 0-0 mark and a 3.38 ERA in eight innings pitched. Cody Pamperin (So., RHP, Shakopee, Minn./Golf and Turf Management) is 1-2 with a 5.25 ERA in 12.0 innings pitched.

North Dakota, a NCAA Division I affiliate, comes in with a 8-16 overall record. UND is in their seventh season under Jeff Dodson. North Dakota is hitting .263 as a team on the season. The squad has been led by Jeff Campbell, who is hitting .380 with 16 ryns scored, four doules, five home runs and 16 RBI's. Ryan Reese has done a strong job driving in runs for the team, hitting .290 with 13 runs scored, a team-leading 23 RBI's, two doubles and four home runs.

On the mound, UND has been led by Andrew Thome, who is 1-4 with a 5.13 ERA in 40.1 innings pitched. In addition to Thome, Zach Muckenhirn is 2-5 with a 5.87 ERA in 38.1 innings pitched.
