CROOKSTON, Minn.-  The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team's games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been moved to Friday and Saturday. The Golden Eagles will host University of Mary Fri., April 17 in a pair of night games at 5 and 7 p.m. at Jim Karn Field, which is located at 600 Barrette Street in Crookston, Minn. The Golden Eagles and Marauders will still play at 1 and 3 p.m. Sat., April 18 at UMC Baseball Field. The games were moved up due to a high chance of rain on Sunday.

The Golden Eagles enter the weekend with a 9-29 (3-19 NSIC) mark on the season. UMC is in their first year under Head Coach Steve Gust. The Golden Eagles are just one win shy of tying the school's record for most wins in a season, which is 10. Saturday's games will mark senior day for the Golden Eagles as UMC honors four players who have been integral parts of the turnaround in Gust's first year. Jesse Jennings (Sr., OF, Robbinsdale, Minn./Criminal Justice), Richie Navratil (Sr., RHP, Blansko, Czech Republic/Management), Travis Magdzas (Sr., OF/DH, Duluth, Minn./Criminal Justice) and Alan Frank (Sr., LHP, St. Michael, Minn./Applied Studies) will all be honored in between games.

UMC has been led on the year by Jennings, who is hitting .354 with 14 runs scored, two doubles, two triples, a home run and 16 run batted in (RBI's). In addition to Jennings, Ryan Haggstrom (Jr., 1B/RHP, Apple Valley, Minn./Accounting) is hitting .336 with 28 runs scored, 10 doubles, three triples and 24 RBI's. Kenny Perez (Jr., IF/DH, Orlando, Fla./Health Science) is hitting .329 with 19 runs scored, 14 doubles, four home runs and 28 RBI's.

On the mound, Nolan Wahlberg (Jr., RHP, Blaine, Minn./Criminal Justice) leads the way with a 4-3 mark and a 4.15 earned runs average (ERA) in 56.1 innings pitched. Jarad Nelson (Jr., RHP, Karlstad, Minn./Education) comes in with a 2-2 record and a 6.84 ERA in 48.2 innings pitched.

The University of Mary is 3-31 (1-19 NSIC) on the 2015 season. U-Mary has been led on the season by Drew Feuderbach, who is hitting .352 with nine runs scored, six doubles, three triples, one home run and eight RBI's. Sean Hennen is hitting .309 with eight runs scored, four doubles, one triple, one home run and 19 RBI's.

The U-Mary pitching staff has been led by Nicholas Stobbe, who is 1-6 with a 5.67 ERA in 46.0 innings pitched. McKeon Meyhoff is 0-6 with a 6.20 ERA in 45.0 innings pitched. Austin Ell has been the top pitcher out of the bullpen, with a 1-2 mark and a 4.33 ERA in 27.0 innings pitched.
