CROOKSTON, Minn.- The University of Minnesota Crookston men's golf team will trek to Las Vegas, Nev. for a pair of events. The Golden Eagles will compete at the UMC/Minot State Vegas Match Play Dual March 14 and will take part in the Minot State/UMC 2015 Psring Invite March 16-17 in Las Vegas.
The Golden Eagles have been led on the season by
Matt McClure (Sr., Grand Rapids, Minn./Natural Resources), who owns a 75.7 average on the season. He had one top 10 placing during the Fall season with a seventh-place finish at the UNK Fall Invite in Axtell, Neb. In addition to McClure,
Jesse Roscoe (Sr., Big Stone City, S.D./Golf and Turf Management) is averaging a 76.6 on the season, while
Michael Roedl (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn./Management) is averaging a 79.3 on the year.
The Golden Eagles last competed Sept. 29-30 at the NSIC/US Bank Men's Golf Fall Championship, where they placed 10th overall.
