CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston women's basketball team currently heads into the New Year as the national leader for three-point shooting percentage, shooting at a 44.0 percent clip. The Golden Eagles are just ahead of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) rival Winona State University at 43.9 percent. The top five is rounded out by Quincy University (43.5 percent), Drury University (42.9 percent) and Lubbock Christian University (42.5 percent).
The Golden Eagles have
Alison Hughes (Fr., Janesville, Wis./Early Childhood Education), who is currently ranked 14th for three-point field goal percentage, while
Alexa Thielman (Sr., Buffalo, Minn./Health Science) is ranked 16th for three-point field goals made (33) and three-point field goals per game (3.3).
