Previewing the Golden EaglesThe Golden Eagles enter the weekend with a 7-19 (3-15 NSIC) mark as they look to get wins to finish the season. UMC is currently on a 11-match losing streak dating back to an Oct. 3 win over Minnesota State University Moorhead. The Golden Eagles have been led this year by
Maggie Perrel, who is averaging 2.84 kills and 2.27 digs per set. Senior Stepanie Pearson is averaging 2.25 kills per set and 3.12 digs per set. Middle Hitter
Kelci Green comes in averaging 1.77 kills per set and 1.10 blocks per set. At setter,
Sierra Trost is averaging 8.58 assists per set and 2.58 digs per set. Defensively, libero
Casey Cashman is averaging 3.09 digs per set.
Previewing the BeaversMinot State enters the weekend with a 3-22 (0-18 NSIC) mark. The Beavers are in their first season under Head Coach Ben Kaszeta. Minot State has been led by Mallory Sall, who is averaging 3.04 kills and 2.47 digs per set. At setter, Kelsey Dewulf comes in averaging 8.98 assists per set. On the block, Shaunessy Dauwalder leads the way with 0.71 blocks per set, while Tarah Dabovich is averaging 0.70 blocks per set.
Previewing the MaraudersThe University of Mary has an 11-16 (6-12 NSIC) mark entering the weekend. U-Mary is in their first full season under Thais Franca. The Marauders are led by Alexis Jacobs, who is averaging 2.96 kills and 2.04 digs per set. At setter, Katelyn Olson is averaging 6.40 assists per set, while the defense is led by libero Alex Brown with 4.44 digs per set.
All signees are contingent upon admission to UMC and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center. Everyone released today has signed their National Letter of Intent prior to release of information.
