CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota, Crookston baseball team will head to the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome Wed., Feb. 27 for some late night baseball against Mayville State University. The doubleheader will commence at 9:45 p.m. in Minneapolis, Minn. The Golden Eagles come into the games with an overall mark of 0-6 on the season. Mayville State enters Wednesday with a record of 2-0 as they defeated Concordia College Moorhead in a doubleheader Feb. 20.
 
The Golden Eagles have been led at the plate this season by Kameron Crandall (R-Fr., P/IF/OF, Zimmerman, Minn.), who is hitting .333 this season with a double, a triple, one run scored and three runs batted in. In addition, Tony Madsen (Jr., IF, Mounds View, Minn.) is hitting .300 for the Golden Eagles, as is Jeremiah Friday (So., C/1B/3B, Rush City, Minn.).
 
On the mound, UMC has been paced by Matt Korte (Jr., IF/OF/P, St. Cloud, Minn.), who is 0-1 with a 1.80 ERA and four strikeouts.
 
The Comets have been led at the plate by John Pistulka, who is hitting .400 with one run scored and one RBI. Spencer Kidder is hitting .333 with one run scored for Mayville State. On the bump, Mayville State has been led by Victor Sokolofsky, who was 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA with two strikeouts.
