(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Tennis team travels to Bismarck, N.D. on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14 to close out the 2012 season with a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Golden Eagles face the University of Mary (U-Mary) at 6 p.m. on Friday and Winona State University (WSU) at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
U of M, Crookston has an overall record of 2-8 and NSIC record of 1-7.
Amanda Pihlaja (So, Duluth, Minn.) is 4-6 in singles matches. Pihlaja and
Cassandra Jarvis (Sr, Sleepy Eye, Minn.) are 4-6 in double matches.
Casey Paris (So, Fairmont, Minn.) and Holly Roepke (Jr, Osage, Minn.) are also 4-6 in doubles matches.
Golden Eagles @ University of Mary Friday, April 13 6 p.m.
The Marauders have an overall record of 3-9 and NSIC record of 1-6. They defeated the Golden Eagles in 6-3 in a non-conference match on March 31. Rachel Brown is 6-5 in singles matches. Brown and Amanda Hennessey are 3-1 in doubles matches.
Golden Eagles vs. Winona State University Saturday, April 14 1 p.m.
The Warriors have an overall record of 13-2 and NSIC record of 5-1. Leah Koehler is 14-1 in singles matches. Erin Kappers is 13-1. Koehler and Laura Roesslein are 11-2 in doubles matches as are Kappers and Leah Dahl.
