(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Tennis team split a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matches Friday night in Sartell, Minn. St. Cloud State University defeated the Golden Eagles 9-0 in the first match. U of M, Crookston then rebounded to gain their first NSIC victory of the season defeating Southwest Minnesota State University 5-4.
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 2-6 and NSIC record of 1-6. They return to action on Saturday, March 31 when they host the University of Mary and Minnesota State University in NSIC matches at Center Court Fitness Center in Grand Forks, N.D. Matches begin at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively.
