(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Tennis team returns to action this weekend hosting four matches at Center Court Fitness Center in Grand Forks, N.D. The Golden Eagles have been off since an 8-1 non-conference victory over North Central University (Minn.) on March 4.
U of M, Crookston will start with a non-conference match against the University of Minnesota Morris on Friday, March 25 at 7 p.m. The Golden Eagles will then play three Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matches starting on Saturday, March 26 when they host the University of Mary (12 p.m.) and the University of Minnesota Duluth (6 p.m.). U of M, Crookston closes out the weekend on Sunday, March 27 when they host Southwest Minnesota State University (8 a.m.)
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 2-5 and NSIC record of 0-4. Amanda Pihlaja (Fr, Duluth, Minn.) has a singles record of 2-4. Casey Paris (Fr, Fairmont, Minn.) and Holly Roepke (So, Osage, Minn.) have a doubles record of 2-3.
Golden Eagles vs. University of Minnesota, Morris Friday, March 25 7 p.m.
The Cougars have an overall record of 0-1 after dropping a 9-0 decision at Hamline University on March 11.
Golden Eagles vs. University of Mary Saturday, March 26 12 p.m.
As of Saturday, the Marauders had an overall record of 0-4 and NSIC record of 0-3. They were scheduled to play Northern State University on Saturday but no score was available.
Golden Eagles vs. University of Minnesota Duluth Saturday, March 26 6 p.m.
The Bulldogs have an overall record of 3-8 and NSIC record of 0-3. They have not competed since an 8-1 loss to Minnesota State University Moorhead on March 5.
Golden Eagles vs. Southwest Minnesota State Sunday, March 27 8 a.m.
The Mustangs have an overall record of 2-9 and an NSIC record of 2-5 after a 6-3 loss at Minnesota State University Moorhead on March 20.
The University of Minnesota, Crookston is an NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Golden Eagle Equestrian team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
