Biography

2018: Junior Season...Jorgenson made an instant impact for the Golden Eagles in his first season...Started in all 49 games and hit .260 out of the leadoff spot, while scoring 39 runs and reached base at a .404 clip...Had a career-high four hits in a February win over Dakota Wesleyan and scored five runs in that game as well...Collected one hit in a win over St. Cloud State, which was the highest opponent the Golden Eagles have beaten in program history.

Prior to UMC: Jorgenson has played at Century College with fellow Golden Eagles Garrett Hohn and Scott Finberg. The program has also produced current Golden Eagle Zach Rustad and former pitcher Nolan Wahlberg. He helped lead Century College to a fourth place finish at the 2017 NJCAA World Series in Greenville, Tenn. Jorgenson has played middle infield for the Wood Ducks. As a freshman, he hit .307 with 29 runs, three doubles, one triple, two home runs and 21 RBI's. He notched eight stolen bases on the season. Jorgenson is currently has three RBIs and seven runs scored on the 2018 season. He played high school baseball at Hammarskjold H.S.

Personal: He is the son of Brad and Janic Jorgenson. Jorgenson plans to major in software engineering. He was born Feb. 23, 1997.
