Minnesota Crookston Baseball Wraps Up Home Stand against Minot State; Games Moved from Tuesday to Wednesday

CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team is set for a mid-week doubleheader against Minot State University Wednesday, April 29 at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., at the Minnesota Crookston Baseball Field. The games were adjusted from an original Tuesday schedule due to rain on Monday. 

The Golden Eagles are looking for their fourth-consecutive NSIC Tournament berth for the first time in program history. Minnesota Crookston's senior group is already the winningest four-year group in program history. The Golden Eagles secure a NSIC Tournament spot with a win Tuesday over Minot State, and at least one loss this week for Minnesota Duluth against Winona State University, and Minnesota State University. Minnesota Crookston enters the week with a 25-19 (18-14 NSIC) mark. They are currently in fifth place in the NSIC standings. Minot State is in ninth place in the conference standings, currently one spot out of the NSIC tournament. They are 22-22 (16-17 NSIC).
