CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team is set for a three-game series with No. 25 Minnesota State University Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 at Bowyer Field in Mankato, Minn. The schedule was adjusted, as Minnesota Crookston will play the Mavericks Saturday at 3 p.m., in a single nine-inning game, and Sunday at 12 and 2 p.m.
The Golden Eagles come into the weekend with a 21-15 (14-10 NSIC) mark. They are looking to squad a three-game losing streak as they head into Mankato. Minnesota Crookston is currently in sixth place in the NSIC standings. They have notched eight seasons with 20 or more wins since 2016. Minnesota State is currently first in the NSIC standings with a 27-8 (20-3 NSIC) record. They have won four-straight games. Minnesota State has won four-consecutive games in the series. The Golden Eagles best streak recently was two games in 2024 in Mankato. They last won in Mankato April 21, 2024.Â
