Colorado Springs, Colo. -- Minnesota Crookston lost a pair on Saturday afternoon in Colorado, falling to Colorado at Colorado Springs for the second time in as many days, 10-2 and Adams State in extra innings.

Game One
The Mountain Lions would strike first in the bottom of the inning, scoring on a wild pitch for a 1-0 lead.
Chayse Doering (So., OF, Shakopee, Minn.) would deliver a two RBI single, scoring Emily Kalina (Fr., OF/P, Rice Lake, Wis.) and Riley Blake (So., OF/P, Las Vegas, Nev.) for a 2-1 lead.
UCCS would then score eight unanswered runs, using six Golden Eagle errors for the 10-2 win in six innings.
Irelyn Spencer (R-Jr., IF, Rapid City, S.D.) would finish the day a perfect 2-2, while Doering, Kalina, Blake and Madeline Murray (So., C/3B, Abilene, Kan.) finished with a hit.
Delaney Penner (So., P, Winkler, Minn.) went 5.1 innings in the circle and gave up 10 runs, seven earned, while striking out four.
Game Two
The Grizzlies of Adams State would strike first with a run in the first and third, taking a 2-0 lead.
Minnesota Crookston would answer with a run of their own in the fourth, as Rayna French (Jr., C/OF, La Salle, Manitoba) would drive in Blake with a sacrifice fly.
Neither team would score in the fifth or sixth innings, but the Golden Eagles would strike in the bottom of the seventh, as Madisen Yandle (So., MIF, Lakeville, Minn.) would drive in Doering with another sacrifice fly.
In the eighth, the Grizzlies would use the runner on second to start the inning and strike for four runs in the eighth, highlighted by a three-run home run.
Minnesota Crookston would get a run in the bottom of the eighth, but it wouldn't be enough in a 6-3 loss.
Megan Surgenor (Fr., RHP/3B, Andover, Minn.) went the distance, giving up eight hits and six runs, while throwing a career-high number of pitches.
