CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston women's basketball team officially released their 2025-26 schedule. Minnesota Crookston is set to play 28 games, including 22 NSIC tilts, and six non-conference games. The NSIC is back to 16 teams and an NSIC North and South Division in 2025-26 with the addition of the University of Jamestown. Minnesota Crookston is in the NSIC North with Jamestown, University of Mary, Minot State University, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Bemidji State University, University of Minnesota Duluth, and Northern State University.
Minnesota Crookston commences their 2025-26 schedule with the NSIC/MIAA Crossover in Kearney, Neb., against the University of Nebraska Kearney. Minnesota Crookston has a tradition of playing the Lopers, as the two schools will be meeting for the seventh time since 2018. They will play November 14 at 11 a.m. The Golden Eagles will continue the NSIC/MIAA Crossover Saturday, November 15 versus Pittsburg State University, remaining in Kearney, Neb., for the neutral-site game at 12 p.m. The Golden Eagles will play the Gorillas for the second-consecutive season.
Minnesota Crookston opens their home slate at Lysaker Gymnasium Wednesday, November 19 at 4 p.m., against Black Hills State University. Minnesota Crookston will face the Yellow Jackets for a second-consecutive season. They played in Spearfish, S.D., during the 2024-25 slate.
The Golden Eagles open conference play Tuesday, November 25 at 5:30 p.m., against their travel partner Minnesota State University Moorhead. The Dragons are the travel partner for the Golden Eagles for the first time since 2012. They will face-off at Nemzek Fieldhouse in Moorhead, Minn. Minnesota Crookston is 2-1 in their last three games with MSU Moorhead.
Minnesota Crookston returns home for a pair of non-conference tilts, as they take part in an unconventional weekend series against Northern Michigan University. The two squads will play twice. They will meet Saturday, November 29 at 12 p.m., and Sunday, November 30 at 12 p.m., at Lysaker Gymnasium. Minnesota Crookston will face Northern Michigan for the seventh time since 2014.
The Golden Eagles enter back into conference play Wednesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m., versus the University of Minnesota Duluth for a road game in Duluth, Minn. They return home to face Bemidji State University Saturday, December 6 at 3 p.m., at Lysaker Gymnasium. The Golden Eagles are 5-1 in their last six meetings with the Beavers.
Minnesota Crookston heads for a road excursion in North Dakota the following week.. They take on the University of Mary Thursday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m., in Bismarck, N.D. Saturday, December 13 they face-off with Minot State University in Minot, N.D. They are 4-2 in their last six meetings with the Beavers.
The Golden Eagles return home to end the calendar year. They welcome new NSIC foe University of Jamestown for the first time Wednesday, December 17 at 7:30 p.m. They last played the Jimmies in a non-conference tilt in 2015. They remain home to take on Northern State University Saturday, December 20 at 3 p.m., in Crookston. They are 4-3 in their last seven tilts with the Wolves.
Minnesota Crookston begins the new year facing conference foe MSU Moorhead for a second time, Saturday, January 3 at 3 p.m. The following day they conclude non-conference play against South Dakota Mines Sunday, January 4 at 1 p.m.
The Golden Eagles hit the road to face their first NSIC South opponents January 9 and 10. They will battle Winona State University Friday, January 9 at 7:30 p.m., in Winona, Minn. The Golden Eagles are 3-1 in their last four meetings with the Warriors. Minnesota Crookston will face Concordia University St. Paul Saturday, January 10 in St. Paul, Minn.
Minnesota Crookston hosts NSIC South foes the following weekend. The Golden Eagles face Wayne State College Friday, January 16 at 7:30 p.m., at Lysaker Gymnasium. Minnesota Crookston is 4-1 in their last five games with the Wildcats. The Golden Eagles take on Augustana University Saturday, January 17 at 3 p.m., in Crookston.
Minnesota Crookston treks to the University of Sioux Falls Friday, January 23 at 5:30 p.m., at the Stewart Center. They remain on the road to face Southwest Minnesota State University Saturday, January 24 in Marshall, Minn.
The Golden Eagles return home to face Minnesota State University Friday, January 30 at 5:30 p.m., on Gary Senske Court. They take on St. Cloud State University Saturday, January 31 at 1 p.m., in Crookston.
Minnesota Crookston heads to Northern State Thursday, February 5 at 5:30 p.m., followed by a meeting at Jamestown, Saturday, February 7 in North Dakota.
The Golden Eagles will host three-straight home games, playing Minot State Thursday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m., UMary Saturday, February 14 at 1 p.m., and Minnesota Duluth Wednesday, February 18 at 5:30 p.m. They conclude the regular season Saturday, February 21 at Bemidji State University in BSU Gymnasium 88 miles down the road in the First City on the Mississippi.
The NSIC Tournament will be a 12-team tournament with the first round at home sites February 25 and the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. February 28-March 1.
