CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team has entered the home stretch of the 2025 regular season. The Golden Eagles commence the final eight games of the slate with a three-game meeting in the Zenith City as they face the University of Minnesota Duluth Saturday, April 26 at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 27 at 12 p.m.
The Golden Eagles come into the weekend in a three-way tie for fifth with Southwest Minnesota State University, and Winona State University. The top eight teams make it to the NSIC Tournament May 7-10 at the Birdcage and Ronken Field in Sioux Falls, S.D. Minnesota Crookston is seeking their seventh appearance in the last 10 seasons. The Golden Eagles are just a game ahead of University of Mary, and St. Cloud State University. They have a two-game lead over the University of Minnesota Duluth. It is still a tight race overall, as only six games seperate third and 10th place.
Minnesota Crookston enters the weekend with a 20-22 (17-15 NSIC) mark. The Golden Eagles are coming off an important sweep of St. Cloud State University. They picked up their eighth 20-win season since 2016. Minnesota Duluth comes in with a 19-23 (15-17 NSIC) mark. The Golden Eagles are 6-1 in their last seven tilts with the Bulldogs.
