CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team is set to host St. Cloud State University in a mid-week doubleheader Wednesday, April 23 at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., at the Minnesota Crookston Baseball Field.
The Golden Eagles come into the week with an 18-22 (15-15 NSIC) mark. Minnesota Crookston is in a three-way tie for seventh place with the University of Minnesota Duluth, and Winona State University. The top eight teams make it to the NSIC Tournament in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Golden Eagles have 10 games remaining in their regular season. St. Cloud State comes in with a 20-20 (16-14 NSIC) mark. They are just one game ahead of the Golden Eagles in sixth place. Minnesota Crookston is 4-3 in their last seven tilts with the Huskies.
Minnesota Crookston swept Bemidji State University in a mid-week on the road last week, but fell in a three-game weekend series at the hands of No. 8 Minnesota State University. St. Cloud State was swept by Wayne State College last weekend.
