Blue Springs, Mo. – After shooting a 292 and finishing day one in sixth, Minnesota Crookston men's golf shot 302 on the final 18 holes, placing them in eighth of the 18 team field. The Golden Eagles 'B' team finished in 16
th after shooting 307.
Concordia-St. Paul moved up a spot and finished in first, while Friends University and Bemidji State rounded out the top three. Winona State and Mount Mercy both moved down three spots and finished in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Thomas Gutzmer of Concordia-St. Paul shot nine under par and won the NSIC Preview.
Holdyn Evjen (Fr., Hermantown, Minn.) paced the Golden Eagles on Tuesday, shooting one under par on the day, tying his career low of 71, catapulting him 15 spots into 14
th place.
Andrew Wilhelm (So., Fargo, N.D.) shot a 73 on the day and finished in 19
th.
Minnesota Crookston will hit the links once again in less than a week, as they compete in the Fort Hays State University Invite in Fort Hays, Kan., starting next Monday.
