Spring Hill, Kan. – Minnesota Crookston men's golf had four golfers finish in the top-20 and had two teams finish sixth and ninth at the Capra Invitational, hosted by Rockhurst University.
William Jewell won the tournament after shooting 34 strokes over par. Quincy and Rockhurst rounded out the top-three, respectively.
Jann Atendido of Lewis won the tournament, shooting three over par through 36 holes. Robin Persson and Bryson Oots, both of William Jewell, finished second and third, respectively.
Connor Czirjak (So., Calgary, Alberta) moved up 16 spots on the final day and finished in 13
th.
Lukas Justesen (Sr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.) finished in a tie for 14
th after shooting 156 for the tournament.
Andrew Wilhelm (So., Fargo, N.D.) moved up two spots on the day and finished in 18
th.
Carson Shultis (Jr., Fargo, N.D.) placed in the top-20.
What's Next
Minnesota Crookston will now compete at the NSIC Preview in Blue Springs, Mo., starting on Monday and going through Tuesday.
