Golden Eagle Men's Golf Tee Off on 2025 Spring at Capra Invitational Hosted by Rockhurst University

Spring Hill, Kan. – Minnesota Crookston men's golf is set for their first spring tournament this Thursday and Friday at the Konzem-Capra Invitational hosted by Rockhurst University at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course.

 

This is the first of five tournaments for the Golden Eagles this spring season. They are coming off of a successful fall season, as they have three top-five finishes, including a 2nd place finish at the CSP/MSU Fall Brawl, a 3rd place finish at the USF Invitational, and five top-10 finishes.

 

Following the fall season, the Golden Eagles have three players shooting below 75 Lukas Justeen (Sr., Detroit Lake, Minn), Andrew Wilhelm (So., Fargo, N.D.), and Marc Borfarull Balleste (So., Barcelona, Spain). In their final tournament of the spring, Wilhelm placed 26th, helping the Golden Eagles secure their 8th-place finish.


Heading into the Spring season, the Golden Eagles are ranked 105 in the nation and 16th in the Central region.

 

The field is challenging for the Golden Eagles. The teams, including the maroon and gold, are: Lewis University, Quincy University, Crowder College, William Jewell College, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and Metropolitan Community College.
