CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston women's basketball team made the NSIC Tournament field for the second time in three years. The Golden Eagles will be the No. 12 seed and will head to No. 5 University of Sioux Falls for the first round. They will face-off Wednesday, February 26 at 6 p.m., at the Stewart Center.

The winner of Wednesday's game advances on to the quarterfinals of the NSIC Tournament at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Golden Eagles have made the NSIC Tournament, in years where not every team made it, seven times since 2011. Minnesota Crookston last played in the NSIC Tournament in 2022-23 against Southwest Minnesota State University, falling to the Mustangs. They made the NSIC Tournament quarterfinals in 2010-11, 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17. 

The winner of Minnesota Crookston and Sioux Falls will play Northern State University March 2 at 11 a.m., in Sioux Falls, S.D.
