CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball program has continued to have alumni active in professional baseball. Conner Richardson was recently announced as a new signee for the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks of the American Association. Richardson spent the last two seasons competing for the Oakland Ballers of the Pioneer League. Richardson went 6-0 in 39 games with 49.2 innings pitched. He posted a 2.54 ERA, with two saves, 36 strikeouts, and just eight walks. Richardson played for the Golden Eagles from 2019-23.
Additionally, Jake Dykhoff is currently pitching for the Caneros de Los Mochis of the Mexican League, a professional baseball winter league. Dykhoff has started two games, and posted a 1.80 ERA in 10 innings, with five strikeouts and no walks. Dykhoff previously spent the season with Fargo-Moorhead, where he was 11-4 with a 2.02 ERA in 93 innings pitched. Dykhoff played for the Golden Eagles from 2021-23.
Jake Hjelle is playing for the Mid East Falcons of Baseball United in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is hitting .263, with one home run, five RBI, and two runs scored. Hjelle played for the Boise Hawks of the Pioneer League in 2025, batting .338 with 26 home runs, and 102 RBI. He played for the Golden Eagles from 2020-24.
